Takes place after S2Ep14 "Reaching Out" and before S2Ep15 "Them's the Breaks, Kid".

Inspired by Luz's complaint about 'twenty more adventures', this project aims to be somewhat self-contained, limiting conflict with the canon timeline. This series will include original characters and locations, and my best attempts at in-character interactions.

Synopsis: Darkest Before the Dawn:
When Luz and Amity get caught up in a self-stylized knight's quest to rid the Ulnic Valley of vampires, they did not know just how dangerous the Boiling Isles used to be. Can they help defeat the vampiric threat, or will they lose each other in the grasp of the Dread Lord.

Introduction: This was my VERY FIRST fanfiction! I wrote Two Queens, Two Hearts: A Lumity Story to deal with the hiatus after the first season of The Owl House ended. I initially intended to write the first two chapters only, but then I got a bunch of new ideas about how Lumity and the overall arc of TOH could develop. I picked up where the first season left off, and I wrote as much as possible. However, when the second season of TOH started airing, I thought it better to let Dana Terrace and the TOH team tell their story their way. I have also decided to write original stories and begin pursuing a career as a professional writer because of all the tremendous praise I got for writing this story, plus all the fun I had writing it! TQTH is mainly a romance story. Our young heroines will have to face a brief threat, but the narrative will primarily focus on Luz and Amity's relationship, so get ready for some sappy, sapphic stuff! I hope you enjoy it!
