Journey 

Chapter 1 - Winter is Coming

Part 1/2

On a high mountain top a pack of wolves gathered by the side of a breathtaking waterfall.  The stones around them glistened from the moonlight in the spray.  Silence fell on the group as a shadow cast down on them from the biggest of the rocks above.  It was Swiftkill, the leader, the alpha female.  When she spoke, everyone listened.  Where she went, they followed.  When she fought, they battled, shoulder to shoulder.  "The winter is coming" Swiftkill announced "It is time to journey to the valley where there is food and shelter".  A soft murmur filtered through the wolves.  The winters in the mountains were hard, the snow fell deep and there was little food, but everyone knew the journey to the valley was filled with danger.  Steep, jagged rocks that ripped through their paws, ice cold rivers that soaked and froze their think fur and the forrest that was home to their rivals, the brown bears.  However that wasn't what concerned them the most.  Last year they had encountered the most fearful creature they had ever met.  This creature had killed over a third of their pack.  It had shown no mercy whether wolf or cub.  It hunted without remorse.  It was their newest and greatest enemy ever,It was called man."When do we leave?" Troy asked.  He was the head of her scouting party.  He also was fearless and was covered in scars from past battles.  "At dawn" replied Swiftkill.  "The pack needs to rest tonight, the journey will be long". Troy nodded in agreement.  "I'll gather together the scouts and we'll leave shortly, we ensure the way ahead is as safe as possible for the others".  Swiftkill looked at Troy "We'll rendezvous at the edge of the river crossing at night fall, the group can cover the whole of the rocks by day but will need food to tackle the crossing". "Food will be waiting for you Swiftkill, we will have it ready for the pack" Troy answered.Swiftkill raised her paw and placed it on Troys shoulder......All Rights Reserved

The man swears on his life he had seen Satan himself inside the she-wolf, he told the town that she was under the alpha's power doing exactly what he has asked of her. The man told the horror of what she would do with men and women who would cross her alpha, and he described this she-wolf as a gorgeous woman, her beauty was so alluring yet the coldness and hate in her eyes rendered you from getting near her. She had to be a Siren crossed breed, the man said. An evil temptress on land, the only horror that walked this earth. He warned the town. "Do not tempt and belittle the Alpha of the werewolves for, you will be placed under a spell of fear and death of this Siren Demon."
