5 year old Dipper and Mabel Pines are twin siblings who lived comfortably in Piedmont, California with their mother and father Alex and Eliza Pines. One day all the them head up north to see the kid's Great Uncle Stan. However, when it's time for them to head home, Dipper is left in Stan's care for 'financial reasons'.
Dipper doesn't mind until what was supposed to be just a year... turned into multiple, leaving the once happy, selfless, and congenial boy feeling... abandoned.

(continued after ddandmd, I do not own gravity falls or any of the pictures) After spending the first real quality time with his great uncle Ford, Dipper Pines finally has someone who won't tease what he likes, make fun of his personality, and someone he can truly trust. In other words he has finally made a friend. Allthough, when you make one friend you can lose another, and in this case, that friend is mabel. Sadly, the twins are now drifting farther away from each other. This is the perfect chance for someone, or rather something, to make his move and destroy Dipper from the inside out. Dipper has been living with his parents. He doesn't have much friends and hates being alone a lot. His parents leave him home alone a lot since they work all day. They want Dipper to become a scientist. Dipper studies all day and night, sometimes he wishes for a break or someone to calm him down. One day, home alone.
