It was a chilly autumn eve, the mildew dripping from the dying leaves - they burst in brilliant reds and oranges. The fog was now fading under the last rays of the sun, although none of its warmth filled the atmosphere, only the lingering chill of the fog could be felt.
Amongst the mist a small faun sat on a fence belonging to a pasture that connected to a quaint little farmhouse, rustic in appearance. Glass and logs created it's form; yet the faun would not dare to go near it nor dare to cross over the fence on which he sat, for the masters of the house would not be pleased in such disobedience to the rules of the land. So he sat in a bundle with a book in his fuzzy lap only being able to dream what real freedom from captivity would be.
Oh how he longed to know the forest, streams and mountains that surrounded their lodge no matter how many times he was told it could never be; it never stopped him from dreaming. In his mind he was free. One day he'd leave that place but today was not the day, but one day he'd be brave enough to leave the fence that bound him.
_______

I wrote the first chapter and half of the second myself, but due to my writers block and lack of motivation. The lovely @thefartingrabbit came to give me a hand and help write this. So it's now a collab!

*just a disclaimer this was my first attempt at a full length fanfic all those years ago so it's pretty bad,,, Y/N is rather cringy and annoying so I'd advise you to tread with caution,,, thank you for checking this out though!! (If you're interested my other stories are way better,,,) Bangchanxreader Soulmate au Soulmate necklaces were such a common occurrence, that it wasn't a surprise that it was your soulmate connection. you felt that you were quite an average person, with an average personality and average looks. You felt like your necklace was the most unique thing about you, other necklaces you had seen were all normal shapes usually split cleanly down the middle, but yours was meant to be a circle, it wasn't split straight down the middle, the pendants edges were jagged, almost as if it was cracked on impact, not carefully cut like the others. The color of the pendent was a rich forest green,a color as vibrant as the green leaves outside after a down pour of rain, you had grown to love the color seeing as you had the necklace with you at all times. All soulmate necklaces had their own unique trait to connect you and your soulmate along with getting warmer the closer you are and colder the farther apart the two of you were. Yours was quite diverse depending on how you or your soulmate were feeling, you could feel each others heartbeats when you touched the necklace or on more rare occasions you could hear each other's voices. You wondered how you could miss someone without even knowing them yet. Started: 31/10/18 Ended: 03/01/19

What if I ain't no violinist?

200 parts Complete

A collection of one-shot and short stories of parallel worlds about Twoset Violinists Brett and Eddy. What if instead of becoming musicians, they pursued different careers? Please come along and take a peek into some alternate worlds, where they will still find each other's souls and build their special bond. I hope I've been somewhat successful in doing this, please let me know in the comments, they'd be appreciated sooooo much!! For the ease of reading all the related stories, the newest chapter will be the last chapter of this book and if there had been any previous chapters written for the newest chapter, all relevant chapters will be brought down to the end of the book so that they are grouped together. The numbers given to each chapter shows the chronological order in which each chapter was written.
