She felt an unbearable guilt, knowing that her younger sister had dropped out of school to help take care of her very sick mother. She knew she couldn't let her down.
Until Sodapop Curtis walked into her life.
Carolyn had always admired him from afar, but when he finally starts to notice her, her life becomes so much brighter. Little does she know about the adventures she's about to take on. Will Carolyn's childhood trauma get in the way of a steady relationship? Will finding herself face-to-face with the greatest guy she's ever met be the best thing that's ever happened to her, or will it be her worst mistake?
