This is a fanfiction sequel to the 1993 movie Darr (fear). but it can also be read as a stand alone. *** Eventual Rahul/Kiran*** The movie left a lasting impression on me and I loved the conflict between characters very much... each one of them had their own faults and strengths... while watching the movie there were two things I wanted so desperately to see ... but didn't get to ... one : I wanted Sunil to look gently and genuinely at Kiran with love in his eyes at least once. The way Rahul did when he was not overcome with madness..which Sunny Deol/Sunil failed to do ... this made me root for Rahul even if he was absolutely wrong in everything he did, except loving Kiran. two: I desperately wanted Rahul to have a redemption ark and find some peace in his life...which if you watched the movie you know didn't happen... the purpose of this story is to give him that redemption **** It will eventually turn into a Rahul/Kiran story...*** and Kiran deserved much better than Sunil who ridiculed her and didn't believe her when she expressed concerns about being followed. Even him going against Rahul was more of an act of protecting what was his rather than out of love or concern for Kiran... Rahul had what Sunil didn't... he loved her truly but couldn't understand the reality of her not returning his feelings...

This is going to be based 1990's 'The Mummy'. However, since I love Egypt and the movie so much I was going to try to make my own X reader type book. I always had the tendency to feel bad for the villains, but I don't think Imhotep was really a bad guy. It's just he had a lot of hatred and vengeance for those who cursed him for loving someone after she killed herself. So due to this I'm going to change the story just a tad, and have a more happy ending. I am also naming her after Seti the first real daughter named Tia. I do not own any of the characters besides my Oc Akila/Tia. Akila Carnahan, is the half-sister of Evelyn and Jonathan. Her brother and sister are half Egyptian while Akila was fully Egyptian. She worked with her sister at the Museum of Antiquities in Cario, Egypt. After she and her siblings found the key and the map to Hamunaptra they went to see a man named Rick O'Connell. They all travel to Hamunaptra, not knowing Americans were going as well to the city of the dead. The night they were heading to Hamunaptra on the boat she got constant visions more than she usually did about her past life. How much will she learn of her old life while in Hamunaptra? What will happen when her sister Evelyn accidentally revives Imhotep from the dead with the book? Will she remember her love with the High Priest? Will she help send him back to his holy resting place or will she be the one to keep balance between them all?Complete
