**I only own Jeong Nari. I do not own Squid Game by any means. That being said, this story takes place the year before the games taken place in season one of the show. It also doesn't fully follow the timeline of Squid Game, nor character backstory's from the Show. 




Much like everyone else who had been given the chance to join the Squid Games, Jeong Nari was in debt. With her fathers medical bills setting her back and her only remaining family pushing her further into debt, she was desperate.

Having the chance to play games for money - she eagerly accepted. Yet, the games soon turned from innocent to murderous, leaving Nari fighting to survive. While she struggles to survive, another thing begins to occupy her mind. 

In the background of the chaos stood a man who went by the Front Man. Nari can't help but take in interest in the mysterious, masked man who seems to be willing to kill anyone out of lines - except her. Nari doesn't understand, but she plans to get to the bottom of it.
