"Did our kiss mean anything to you? I mean, if it didn't then I'll leave right now, but it sure as hell meant something to me." Cain confessed, as if fighting with himself as the rain pounded against his head, his hazel eyes glaring at her through the thick droplets which fell between them.

"Cain...I-- ." Alana was speechless, confused and shocked all at the same time. He was falling in love with her. Alana could not believe her ears. The only problem was that she could not be with him now, if ever.

If anyone knew how wonderful, yet frightening it was to fall in love, it was definitely not Alana-May. Although she had been in a relationship months prior, which lasted for two years, she could not say that she was head over heels for her partner. She could say that she loved working at Perfect Events, but when arrested on the job, however, Alana's life takes an unpredicted turn, especially as new friends are introduced into her life.

When, without any warning, she begins to fall hard for someone that she hadn't expected, what would she do? Trust her heart and take a chance, or run away in an attempt to hide from her feelings and maybe her only chance at true love as a result of seeing her many heartbroken friends?

"What are we doing Alex?" He breathes against my lips. That's too sensible of a question, so I ignore it. My brain has yet to return to my body, and right now that is the last thing I'm worried about. "Stay." I whisper against his mouth, my words flowing without any thought. "Stay?" He sits up fully, which results in me straddling him. His expression is full of curiosity and mild shock. "Like stay stay?" I don't respond with words. I'm afraid if I open my mouth, I'll start to overthink and I can't afford that. Instead, I pull my shirt over my head. I do it confidently, in spite of my boldness starting to dissipate as the seconds pass. Ryan swallows. His eyes trail down to my breasts, before he looks at me again with a look I can't name. "Are you sure?" He stares into me. "Promise me you're sure." "I'm sure." I tell him softly. "I promise." ******* ALEXANDRA MONET is a twenty two year old girl, freshly out of college. Check out my Instagram page: gold_n_dark for aesthetics and songs for the chapters. One in a million. The chances of them meeting were one in a million. And yet... They met. And more came. Neither of them met love until now. Each one had different reasons. One was too stubborn, arrogant, heartless and careless to want love; the other one was too kind, happy, hopefull, optimist and dreamy to see the love around her. Maybe that's why they attracted each other. Because they completed each other. The good - her - and the bad - him. But not quite... She could also be strubborn, grumpy, proud, impulsive; and he... he would be wearing a mask. A mask which made him seem harsh and impassive. But once he would take the mask off, it would relieve the wounds, the pain, the worries, the hope and above all, the love. They have many things in common and at the same time they are completely different. They could've not met, and yet they did. They could've not fallen in love, and yet they did. They could've forget and move on, and yet, they couldn't. In Nicole and Jake's story, at the beginning everything is about hate and how they can't stand each other, about how they would give anything to not be near each other. But everything ends with love and about love. Their love. And how it consumes them and it drives them insane. But they love that. This is their story. Nicole and Jake's story. It's about love: being in love and loving someone; about being broken and hurt and hurting the people around you; about growing up and becoming an adult. It's about being human.

It was gentle and soft, something I never expected from a guy like him. He moved his right hand from my cheek to my waist, tugging me against him, and molded our bodies together. A wave of electricity went down to my core when he licked my lips. "Open your mouth, Bella." His commanding husky voice against my lips jolted my heart, and I followed his order like a slave. With no control, a moan erupted from my throat as his tongue met mine. It was barely audible, but I knew he heard it when he smiled against my lips. He swept my hair from my face to my back and gathered them in his fist. He tugged my head back, deepening the kiss, and my heart thrashed in my chest. At that moment, I didn't need drugs to know what being high felt like because his lips were enough to send me on nine clouds. Just once and I was addicted to it. If this is how being kissed feels like, then fuck, I've wasted a lot of time. ~^~^~^~ FEATURED ON: @Romance (Romantic Suspense) HIGHEST RANKINGS: #1 Goodgirl, Darkpast #2 Badboy #5 Newadult
