Eight years into the War of SandWing Succession, the NightWing named Morrowseer foretold a prophecy that would spread across the continent and be heard by dragons of all tribes. This famous prophecy promised them peace from the bloody claws of battle and all dragons believed that one day, they would be saved by the Dragonets of Destiny. A group of seven dragons, one from each tribe, would come together and unite the tribes, ending the war by choosing the next SandWing queen.

Umber wasn't sure of how it would work really. He and his friends seemed like disappointments when compared to the legendary dragons they had been told that they were supposed to be. But when he was with his friends, it felt like even as disappointments, they could do anything together, even end a twenty-year war. That was until they all learned a shocking truth and they end up having to escape the prophecy in order to save Pyrrhia. Umber struggles to come to terms with everything happening and as he and his friends stumble into dangerous situations, he must do everything he can to protect them.All Rights Reserved

The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war.
