What kind of pre-employment tests should I take before applying for a job?
There are many types of pre-employment tests. Some employers require applicants to submit their fingerprints or iris scans. Others ask them to complete personality assessments, such as Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Temperament Sorter, Enneagram, etc. Learn more: https://blog.hirenest.com/the-different-types-of-pre-employment-tests-you-should-know/

Some employers conduct background checks on potential employees. This involves checking criminal records, credit reports, and employment history. Other companies run drug tests, check references, and interview candidates.
The MBTI test measures four different psychological traits: extroversion, introversion, sensing, and thinking. It asks respondents to rate each trait using a five point scale from "very strong" to "not at all." Each person receives four scores based on his/her responses to 16 statements. These scores are then used to determine one of sixteen types of personalities.
The MBTI has been criticized because it does not measure intelligence, which some people believe is the most important factor in determining success. Also, the test was developed by two psychologists who were interested in understanding how people think rather than what they do. In addition, the MBTI has been accused of being sexist because it assumes women are more sensitive than men. Finally, the MBTI is often used as a tool to discriminate against minorities.
The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality assessment system created by Isabel Myers and her husband Harry B. Myer in 1940. They believed that everyone had a unique way of perceiving the world and that this perception could be measured through a series of tests. Their goal was to provide a simple method of identifying someone's preferred style of functioning.
