In the near future, scientists have discovered a way to genetically modify people at the push of the button. UNA stands for Uberribonucleic Acid. It gives normal humans superhuman abilities. Even a millionth of your DNA being converted into UNA can result in multiple levels of power that no natural thing can bring. But when some drunk scientists forgot to seal a test tube, UNA leaked out into the Amazon Rainforest, making all of South America uninhabitable within two days. Twenty years later, the only safe place are the isolated islands of Micronesia. Multiple people have attempted to explore the world, only one coming back. That person reported giant spiders and snakes with ten times more potent venom crawling around Australia. If all the world's a stage, then we are merely the sacrificial actors.

After major coastal cities sink to the bottom of the ocean at the end of the twenty-first century, the richest inhabitants of Earth escape the planet to build new colonies in a distant solar system. Thirty six light years away from the Milky Way galaxy, centuries have passed and humanity is well established. Among the most notable establishments is a prestigious university for the study of alien biology. Moira, a girl with a pervasive developmental disorder, but a talented student nonetheless, navigates the challenge of interplanetary university life as she researches a rare and endangered species. When a deeper threat emerges that challenges the existence of these creatures, she must team up with her classmates and find a solution to a problem much bigger than they could ever hope to be. ***** Credits: The cover is courtesy of the brilliant @vertigo_moon from The Vertigo Graphics while the line editing/proofreading/grammar check was done with a lot of input from Halyn Bleiz a.k.a vin_elend from the Floret community and Katie Marie from the Coven of Bookworms community. They have my gratitude. The blurb was written with some help from @RowanCarver and I am thankful for her feedbacks.
