It was raining. Heavily. Caroline was holding on tightly to Jacob's hands.

"Just promise me you'll come back. Promise me you won't forget me!. Promise me you won't leave me."

Jacob had a plane to catch and he was running late already. He had assured her a million times already but she didn't let go.

"Caroline!. I promise i promise i promise a million times I'll come back for you. And I'll repay the favour. I promise you."

"I need something else Jacob." She said solemnly.

The rain was drenching them evenly and the cold wind was blinding. Jacob placed a small kiss on her lips and looked her in the eye.

"If its rain again, I'll come back.".....

His Redemption

54 parts Complete Mature

Amber leaned into Jacob's arms, her body still weak but her mind finally quiet. The night stretched around them, vast and dark, until a cool drop landed on her cheek. Then another. She looked up, and the sky opened. Rain poured down in heavy sheets, soaking her hair, clinging to her skin. For a moment, she simply stared, blinking at the sudden change. Jacob chuckled, his voice low and warm. "Looks like the universe isn't done with us yet," he said, tilting his head back to let the rain hit his face. Amber let out a soft laugh, the sound surprising her after everything that had happened. "It's... kind of perfect, isn't it?" Jacob raised an eyebrow, water dripping from his lashes. "Perfect? We're drenched." Amber stepped out of his arms and spun slowly, her arms stretched wide as the rain washed over her. "Exactly. Drenched, messy, alive." She stopped and looked at him, a playful glint in her eyes. "Dance with me." Jacob smirked. "Here? In the middle of a storm?" "Why not?" she challenged, stepping closer. "You scared, Jacob?" "Of you? Always." But his grin widened, and he took her hand, pulling her into a gentle sway. *** Secrets unravel, exposing dangerous truths. Blood is spilled, leaving scars that run deep.
