Lego: Monkie Kid
°{Monkie kid Oc history}° Do you believe in reincarnation? I do, but do you believe that souls can be divided? Before being one, now divided into who knows how many pieces, finding a new body when they are born, being a new and different person. But if they are pieces of the same soul, are they really someone different or are they just a small fragment of who they were before? Their personality, their feelings, their actions, their thoughts, are they all their own or are they from someone who left this world centuries ago? How difficult it must be for these children to find out in this way. To be part of someone else and have no idea if anything they do, think or feel is their own. Fearing someone else's past mistakes, being pursued by someone else's enemies, being mistaken for someone else. Having the traits of someone else who never brought them into this world, with no explanation, no meaning, no one they know, just being someone new in a new life. But they say that new things are better than old things, new generations are better than old generations, new is better than old, right? Right?

A global pandemic has seen so many people separated from love ones, families spread, torn, missing each other. Yet, in this separation, in this darkness that is the world, her light keeps shinning. It always did. The only difference is that it's lighting up my phone screen this time instead. Can two souls find each other again after so much time? Can the distance actually bring them closer together? Or has just too much happened, too much history, too much time, heartbreak, pain. Is there a need to reopen old wounds? Is it worth it? To cross that distance, to find her light again?
