"You can't keep pretending like last night didn't happen, Ashlyn. We need to talk about it sooner than later." Phoenix pleads with me. 

My head hurts from already thinking to much into all of this. I'm just a pawn to him.

I turn around to look him right in the eyes. My eyes start to burn so I shut them and open them, letting the tears fall down my face.

Ashlyn Thompson is the youngest out of her and her two older brothers. She has a best friend who she has been hopelessly in love with for years. One year, their friend group decides to drive down to their family's cabin which happens to be 48 or so hours away. Ashlyn has to stay behind a day due to work. Turns out, so does Phoenix, her best friends' older brother. Due to him wrecking his car, Ash has to endure a car ride with him. Oh, how fun this summer should be.
