I love it :D - WARNINGS I've received some feedback that the relationship portrayed is abusive; just as a trigger warning. There is no (with a single exception) pain for the sake of harming anyone. I'd say it is more on the forceful side, especially with the vampire-setting, and the vampire may act questionable and egocentric. Also, depression and I'd say a suicidal tendency do come up (briefly) because of these thoughtless interactions. And, uh, "Stockholm Syndrome" was mentioned, but also in the context of an overall enjoyable read. - Finished story. There are two sequels. Put together a man with a bounty on his head, a woman with too much to lose, throw in a healthy dose of trauma, teenagers, toddlers, sharing a bed with a stranger and you're bound to have a royal mess. Let's not forget the most important part, they can't fall for each other because that just takes the stakes up, you don't just wake up and get attracted to an assassin so you can be used as mafia bait, basically destined not to work. That's what this is, a mess that shouldn't work. But it does. And everything goes to shit because of it. A story about love, assassination, family and healing from trauma.
