Has your imagination been running wild but your brain just can't get the details on paper? Are your stories lacking just a little something that you can't put your finger on? Do you look up at the professionals and go, "man, what are they doing that I'm not?" Well, have I got the solution for you. This is a series I will be writing for the betterment of the Wattpad community and for writers in general, for all of your questions about how to improve your storytelling. I'm here to break down and analyze every literary element, trope, genre, and bad writing advice for your benefit and explain why they do - or don't - work.
Do note that I won't deliver any advice on finding inspiration or motivational speeches for the soul or stuff like that. This will be almost purely analytical.
Feel free to make suggestions about what I should talk about in the comments!

ThatGuyWasOnWP's Writing Tips
If you ever wanted some advice on how to write but never got around to asking me, this book will give some basic tips and advice on how to go about writing in a manner somewhat similar to me. I'm by no means a professional so take anything I say with a grain of salt and keep in mind that this works best for me, which means it might not work best for you.Kumpleto
SomeGuy's Writing Advice And Tips And STUFF
I am SomeGuy. People have enjoyed reading my chapters across all my fics for some reason, and I saw that a handful of my readers were people either interested in writing or already writers, so I decided to make this to help everyone else out. I'm not a professional writer though, and some of these things might not apply to you, so take some of my tips with a grain of salt. Writing isn't as easy as people think, and I would know, 'cause I thought this would be easier than it actually turned out being. I've been writing for a few years now, but it's still hard at times, and it probably won't get any easier. I doubt this book will change much for you, but I still want to make life easier even by a little bit. This will include writing advice, tips and stuff. Let's cook together, chat.Kumpleto
A Guide to Writing
Ok, so I know that there are a lot of these books out there on Wattpad. The reason I decided to write this book was because I found it hard to find actual guidelines on the internet for this kind of stuff. So I put together what I learned from many authors so this is basically a rant/rule book for the way I would qualify as good writing. RotG/GoC Fanfiction Writing Tips
If you've been looking for some writing advice specific to the RotG/GoC fandom and/or fanfiction in general, you're in luck! I rewrote my Wattpad guide from years ago to make it better. This guide includes information about things like centers, fandom-specific clichés, and titles and descriptions. *** All follows, votes, and comments are greatly appreciated. :) Critiques, constructive criticism, and reviews are also welcome and encouraged, as long as they aren't something purely hateful like "u suck". Take note of the word "constructive". I also posted this guide on DeviantArt and Quotev under accounts of the same username as the one I have on this website. Disclaimer: I don't own "Rise of the Guardians" (© DreamWorks Animation) or the Guardians of Childhood series (© William Joyce) that it was based off of.Kumpleto
About Reviews
A guide to types of reviews and especially how you may react to them. Ever wondered why you have so many reads but so little votes? Or have you ever thought about why you don't receive comments for your books and are wondering if those comments are genuine or not? Welcome, you've come to the right place! {I know. This introduction was cheesy as hell but please open the book or continue moving on;) } These are things people have talked about and things I've experienced and noticed among writers and reviewers. Some of what is here can answer your questions as to why you receive certain reviews. . . and this may be a rant book for some? Anyways, this contains some facts about reviewers and those who receive reviews (mostly bad or negative reviews)Kumpleto
How to write like a Pirate, Get readers, and other inspirational crap
I get asked a lot for advice so I'm going to sum up all of it here. So sit down, shut up, and don't go anywhere because this book will change your life. Or at least it better, otherwise you're probably doing something wrong. I'll cover things like: General Advice on being a better Writer or anything really. Why you aren't getting any reads, and how to get more. Tips, life lessons, and what I learned the hard way. How to be a good reader and why that matters. How to fix basic problems about your story to help it get noticed. Basic advice on Tags, cover, description. I'll talk about things you may not even know you are doing wrong yet. What it means to be a Pirate as a writer and why you should be one too. And I'll update more as needed. Generally, it's a bunch of stuff that's not always obvious or you didn't think about at first. Lessons that I discovered through a long painful process of trial and error. Everything may not be exactly right in everyone's eyes, but nobody's perfect. Be aware, this book may both change your life for the better and unapologetically attack you on a personal level at the same time. Because how can you know what to fix if you didn't know what is broken? You can write. You can be a writer, novice or professional. And maybe you are simply failing in some way because nobody told you what-not-to-do yet. Let me tell you. Let me break you down and build you up so that you can succeed. But I can't help you if you don't let me. So give me that chance and read this from start to finish.Kumpleto
