Elena Gilbert had just given birth to her daughter Stefanie Salvatore who she shared with her fiancé Damon Salvatore. When she was pulled into the future but she wasn't the only one.
Her future children nieces and nephews needed the help of their mothers and aunts to prevent the tragedy that was yet to come.
Most of them had already experienced grief before they were even born they were given a second chance to keep these events from happening and make there family whole again
