Antoinette was excited; it was her senior year, and she was determined to move out and leave for college when she turned eighteen that same summer. Everything was perfect. Although she didn't have many friends, or a boyfriend, nor was she very well-known in school, she was contempt with what she had. She liked to keep to herself anyways. Just when her hectic life was starting to fall into place, Jack Gilinsky, the heartthrob of Norwood High, decides to waltz in and ruin everything.
Right away she caught his eye, and vice versa, but she couldn't let anyone - especially Jack - know that. Because of his reputation of smoking weed, doing every girl in the school, and getting into lots of trouble, Tony tried to steer clear of him. But no matter what she did, she was always drawn back to the infamous Jack Gilinsky.
Once being assigned partners for an important project in History class, she was forced to communicate with him. As time went on, even after the school project, the two teens become close and starts to develop feelings for each other. Throughout the year, their relationship progresses but certain situations and people get in their way. Everything hits rock bottom for Antoinette and she doesn't how to escape it.
She just wished she never met Jack Gilinsky, he was like a curse and there was no way of reversing it.
