Eiko Chihara and Izuku Midoriya had been inseparable as kids, bonded by their shared dream of becoming heroes together one day. But everything changed when Eiko's father, a beloved Pro Hero, was killed in a villain attack before her first year in junior high. After witnessing and experiencing her father's gruesome death, her grief consumed her and by the end of the year, she had pushed everyone away-including Izuku. Seeing Izuku again was very unexpected but it sparked awkward conversations and fleeting glances that reminded them both of the bond they once shared. As they spent more time together, the walls she'd built started to crumble.
