During the war of two families, Pete witnessed the person he loves getting shot multiple times. Staring at his bloody and almost lifeless body caused him great shock. There are people who get offended when there's an LGBTQIA+ couple and they call them 'husband & wife' BUT there are also those who are OKAY with this. I have a friend in a homosexual relationship who's being called by his bf as 'wife' hehe. In the Christmas special of KP novel, I concluded Pete is okay with this since Vegas refers to him as his wife and he doesn't complain.)
