The moment that portal opened in the skies above New York City, the world is changed forever. A team of heroes fights to win the day, but not everyone can be saved. Eighteen-year-old Anaya Campbell is forced to fight for her life, and the lives of her family, as her world crumbles around her. The Battle of New York rages around them. The Chitauri are merciless. The Avengers are reckless. And Anaya, her family, and the innocents of the burning city, find themselves caught between the lines of fire that will surely consume them all.
