A new school year means another nine months of endless torment. That's what Kokichi expected, at least. But when a new detective student unexpectedly joins class and grows popular in an instant, Kokichi has new things to worry about: his jealousy. But luckily for him, that doesn't last long. An intense chain of events leads Kokichi to believe that the boy was brought there just for him. To help him... to save him. 

This new student is his savior. And Kokichi will do anything to make sure they get their happy ending.

He hardly had any friends, the count only being two, and he usually felt a longing. A longing for a more unique and special life, something that would contrast from the rest of it all. As if to grant his simple wish, a butterfly is usual to turn up by his own bedroom window every day, checking up on him like some worried mother.
