This is an exploration of Subaru's unstable psyche, chronologically situated during the year of downtime following the events of Arc 4, but before what transpires in Arc 5. For those who have only watched the anime, it would equate to some time after season 2. Please note that I do intend to include some, but not all, of the cut content that is featured in the novel, so bear that in mind in case you plan on reading through it in the future.

As a further disclaimer, this story features elements and themes related to sensitive topics, such as mental illness and self-harm, which may cause varying amounts of discomfort depending on the reader's experiences and views on such topics. Nobody notices a thing until Nico gets wind of his former crush drifting farther and farther away. Percy suddenly has new feelings for someone new, and he gets rejected by someone, but not who he thinks. He gets a quest and has to pick one other person from camp to go with him to rescue a friend. Percy gets cursed along the way and has to make it back to Camp to save a life. This story is about Percy self harming, and Nico helping him, there are mentions of dizziness, the feeling of starving, graphic self harm/injuries, blood, graphic thoughts of a person with depression, and probably something like psychological horror. If any of that makes you uncomfortable, don't read!!! I don't think I'm going to get any backlash for anything but if you comment, I'm probably not going to answer you! To the people who leave nice comments, I do read all of them and it is appreciated! this is my first published work, I just wanted to add something to this cool community and maybe live a little vicariously through the characters. Note: This is my first re zero story, which I would love your feedback! If the story is good or not! With that out of the way, I hope you enjoy the story! Subaru x Rem Subaru Natsuki, a young man who grew up without any parents, while also having above average strength, speed, reflexes, etc. During his years as a kid, he was always praised for being the best, but when he reached high school, people looked at him in fear and were scared of him. Once someone tried to bully him, he left the bully in a bloody pulp. He thought people would thank him. Instead, they ran away, calling him a monster. After that incident, Subaru decided to shut himself off from the rest of the world. Believing that he wasn't normal, after a couple of years passed, he walked to his local gas station once he saw he was out of food. Once he reached the local gas station and bought what he needed, he left. He was about to head home only to suddenly be taken to another world! Surprised that he became one of those isekai protagonists! Subaru felt happy that finally, he could fit in a world with magic and swords! (This isn't a person who is super overpowered like my other story's, so if you are here for that, then please leave since he will get stronger but over time instead of all at once!)

I do not own Re: zero that is owned by Tappei Nagatsuki. I started writing this after the other fanfic. heard of one loop in the Re: Zero series that Tappei Nagatsuki said Subaru attributed it as reality closest to hell. If you haven't already guessed from the cover, this story takes place in episode 11 season 2 the episode where Emilia goes insane. I immediately wanted to throw my character into it to see if he would survive this hell. I was kinda embarrassed writing it at first. But I put a lot of effort and emotion into it. I remember one time while I was writing I had eaten nothing that entire day, was coming down from a pretty high Adderall dose, and was withdrawing due to forgetting to take certain medications. The characters were in a similar situation, thus adding realism to the story. Also, I was able to channel my emotion onto my writing. The result was a very authentic very hard to recreate product. Thus I cannot let it go to waste. Also, the parts are either going to be very long or short. Also, some of this rides off of my other fanfic so read that one too. Enjoy

Subaru is still in this story, and he's also your best friend, and you also get transported with him, so yeah. And do not worry about the mangekyou problem, cause I can SEE my way around that. (Ok now you can kill me) I do not own Re:zero-Starting Life In Another World From Zero, and if I did I would give Subaru a break from the suffering.
