DEATH IS ONLY THE BEGINNING. Amelia Watts attacked in an alley in Brooklyn and newspapers everywhere ring of her murder. But this attack isn't what it seems. Amelia wakes up imprisoned on an air ship hundreds of miles above Yorkland in 4057 a parallel New York run on a steampunk tyrannical ruling. There she meets the mysterious Zero who like others there has a strange power called Affinity, but he holds dark secrets beyond this power that Amelia must solve in order to save humanity in this new world as well as her own.
