This is just a little book of "whatever" it'll be where I write and upload when I have less time on my hands but I feel like writing and uploading SOMETHING heartstopper related hence the name of the book
this is NOT an add on or sequel to the main book I am writing called on top of the world - yet as we are only a few chapters in after all and if you haven't read it yet feel free
Just a friendly reminder for people who have read my work before and those who are new here: I have dyslexia so please bare with me in terms of spelling grammar and punctuation I try my best I am not a professional I am just someone who is passionate about writing fiction and fan fiction in their spare time! I hope this along with the comics and multiple re watches of season one will fill the void until season 2 is released.

There will be some swearing here and there
There may be brief mentions of Charlie's eating disorder but I won't be going into specific details of graphic long paragraphs or chapters and themes like these will not be a focus of this book as I want this to be. Light fun and easy to read therefore if these themes are mentioned they do not always correlate to the timeline graphic novels or books

Teach my Hearth to Stop is an alternate universe fan fiction inspired by Alice Oseman's Heartstopper characters Nick and Charlie and some of their friends. Inspiration is drawn from the books and the Netflix show. It is set 16 year's after Heartstopper began, but in a universe where Nick and Charlie had not yet met. Charlie still went to Truham Grammar School, but Nick did not, neither did Charlie's other love interest/bully Ben. Charlie was never actually outed at school either, but still bullied. Charlie is starting his new job as music teacher, he is nervous as this is his first teaching job. Who is that crazy man running out on the frosty school field so early in the morning, in shorts? Nick can't believe it's happening to him again, what is it with music teachers? But this time feels different. Sparks fly instantly between the PE teacher and new music teacher. It's not long before Mr. Spring and Mr. Nelson are falling hard for each other, but they both have their own demons from their past and new challenges to overcome together. This is one of the many universes where Nick and Charlie find each other. Hello everyone! My name is Declan and I am from Britain🇬🇧 Heartstopper has become a huge part of my life and I want to explore my love for it as much as possible. I also have a tiktok @n1ckn3ls3n ! if you're a fan of heartstopper and want to see heartstopper tiktok's I make them weekly! I decided to explore my love for Heartstopper even more and write short stories. Most of these stories will be based off events that haven't happened in their lives yet, so most of these stories will be fiction. Also, some of these stories may contain topics that might be difficult to read so i'll ensure a trigger warning is placed at the top of the pages; like how Alice does on their pages. A short disclaimer: I am British so my english language may be slightly different to how you pronounce things, or some phrases you won't understand. A few examples: path = sidewalk chips = fries bin = trash. Some of the words may be spelt differently also. In Britain, we write "colour" but i know Americans spell it as "color".
