The story centers around an original character, Alyssa Marie, an orphan of the french quarter who was raised by Kol Mikealson and Davina Claire. Alyssa Marie is a sixteen year old witch who was orphaned young. Her parents were killed in a blood ritual. Vincent Griffith saved her. Kol and Davina adopted her. In the present day, a war is brewing in the shadows. Alyssa is tainted with dark magic and the tribrid, Hope Mikealson, is prophesied to be the death of all witches.
