This is a Xiaoven secret agent au in which Xiao and Venti are both in high school and work for different agencies. They haven't told the other in order to keep them away from the dangers that come from working in an agency.
It isn't until both agencies decide to work together in search of powerful item we're both Xiao and Venti find the truth about each other.
The discovery is something that pushes the two boys into realizing how much the care for the other and both try and protect each other.
