Everyone knew the story of Atsushi Nakajima and the rest of the Armed Detective Agency and so on. But what if Atsushi had a twin sister who had his signature hair and eyes...but her eyes were reversed? What if she also had an ability just like her brother? And what if she knew a certain man with unknown connections that have yet to be revealed. In due time everything will be revealed whether she wants it to or not.

Mitsue Nakajima is the younger twin sister of Atsushi Nakajima and just like her brother, she becomes a member of the Armed Detective Agency, but there's more to her that her brother knows of that another member of the Agency just so happens to know.

The ability known as Umbra is Mitsue's ability. Some could say it's similar to Chuuya Nakahara's ability or even Ryuunosuke Akutagawa's ability, although more towards the second one. The ability Umbra is known to others as shadows, and that's exactly what it is. Umbra is the ability to manipulate and will shadows to obey the users every whim...well mostly in Mitsue's case. She grew up unable to use her ability out of fear of losing control like she's done plenty of times and kill innocents. It feels as though her shadows are suffocating her, but she manages to keep them under control to a minimum.

Now that she's in the Agency with a very well known man, she begins to trust herself more to use her ability and gain more control of it. She's not as scared as she used to be, although she is a bit wary and doesn't want to always rely on the ability itself as it can react to her emotions at times as well.

Takes place right after Episode 5 (Murder on D Street) and starts before Episode 6 (The Azure Messenger). The story follows the anime, but may transition into the manga if I decide to do so, but I will let you know if I decide to do so.
