This is the recolection of a story in progress set in the world of Vampire the Masquerade, during the 1700s (ish). So slavery was a common thing, just in case that's a trigger for anyone.
I'm just putting this here because I kind of like how the story is going, and it will help me remember things better while I play.

Helios's retelling

Everything from herding José's sheep, or helping him with the harvest, to helping build new housing, or hunting with his dad. He's always been beloved around the village. It was a poor community, but everyone knew everyone, and they were happy. But one morning, while Helios was about to go explore the savannah with his friend, a truck pulled up to the village, a semi painted all black, and one man stepped out from the passenger side door... and in only a few hours, Helios's life changed from a helpful village boy, to a kidnapped child. This is his story, told by his own tongue.

Blood Slave
Everybody knows about them. Humans aren't supposed to go outside when it's night. If they go outside, they die. They get killed by them. The vampires. If they go outside and don't get killed, then they're mostly likely taken in as a blood slave. Being a blood slave is looked down upon. It's viewed similar to prostitution. The blood, the body, and eventually the mind is stripped away till there's nothing left. Till there's nothing left in a man named Zuriel. He's the start of everything and sets things in motion. He's surrounded by witches, hybrid abominations, lycans, werewolves, and a whole list of things.
