You tried to open the door but you can't. You keep trying and trying you didn't stop. Until...

If you doubt your writing skills, read this book. It'll make you feel better, trust me. I wrote this when I was in sixth grade, and now I can't even get through the first chapter without cringing. Not the kind of special like we are the best at an instrument or we know more facts about something than anyone else. We are so special that our connection is something that only happens every million years. we also inherited something random from our adopted mom that makes us SUPER special. We would be put on public display where millions would flock around to get a mere glimpse of us and what makes us special. Scientists and genetic experts on many grounds would put us in cages. Three years ago, when I was twelve, a group of my fathers friends stole me from home one night and took me to a lab. My father, being a scientist, loves to experiment on people. But not me. He promises he would never hurt me. But his friends didn't. As they snuck me into the lab, they hooked me up to wires and monitored my heart rate. However, a thunderstorm hit the building and shorted out the cables. But not before I was hit. My heart rate went up drastically and they pulled out the wires. I was so angry I lost my temper. Something didn't feel right. I looked around my room slowly; cautiously; taking everything in and trying not to feel too nervous. Perhaps Lure was in my room right now, watching me, silently laughing to himself. I didn't doubt it. I slipped off my bed and walked around, hugging my waist, and tilted my head. I felt my rough ponytail slide against the back of my neck and over my shoulder as I moved. "Lure?" I hissed, "Lure, are you there?" I wandered around a little, for some reason feeling scared. But why? It was only Lure. He wouldn't hurt me, would he? "Okay, Lure. Quit it. I know it's you. Who else would it-" I stopped, startled, when I heard a strange sound that made me cringe. It was like fingernails being dragged across a chalkboard. I whipped around and came face-to-face with my mirror. Immediately, I saw the difference. Various scratches were displayed across the glass, forming words. It looked as if claws had written the words in the mirror. "Deepest apologies, but it was fun." I wasn't special, I wasn't a marine or a scientist sent here from earth to study Pandora, I was a behaviorist-some say behaviorists are scientists too; but the brain isn't made up of mathematics and hope, it's like the roots of trees. They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. That's why they call me: Death -----------------------------------------************************************--------------------------------------------- Death. A teen girl, pitch black hair, black eyes, white skin. Her height is 5'8. People are scared of her, not just because of her strength but because of they way she kills. She lived in this hell hole, where they take her to rooms. Examine. Fight. She knows she won't be able to entertain them for long. She decides to run. Soul. Brown hair as mud, blue eyes as the sky. Hight 6'2. Tanned and toned body. Death's best friend in the hell hole they're in, he's as cold as she is. But shows a bit of sympathy. Well... More than her at least. After around ten years of making sure my neural system was intact, the metal surrounding me grew with my body and the batteries didn't poison my immune system, I was given the option of getting out of CARESS, also known as Centre of Adolescents in Rehab after the Effect of Scientific Surgery, and live a normal life. I woke up in a metal cell, wearing some kind of black jumpsuit and bulletproof vest. It was strange that I knew the room was metal, or it was a cell, when I couldn't remember my own name. Or where I came from or what I was doing here. The room was tiny. My feet touched the door when I lied down. I stood up and pushed the door. Solid. Locked. It wasn't meant to be opened.
