It has been 10 years since Matthew has become an official resident of the Devildom. The demons, Simeon and Solomon all share Matt's love. Luke of course getting a more platonic love, as he sees Matthew as an older brother. 

Diavolo, of course, being the crowned prince of the Devildom; has lived in the devildom for his entire life. But he never truly felt, "at home." He lives in the royal castle with Barbados, and some nights he can't help but feel lonely.  Matthew ended up bringing a new life to the castle and has ignited a new fire in Diavolo. Matt makes him feel at home.
