Reverse Singularity

In the year 2052, rumors of an underground technological device that can substantially increase a person's IQ begin circulating. A now recluse 35 year old Manny Lopez, a once renowned bio-engineer at the forefront of artificial intelligence engineering, has been exiled and discredited by the scientific community for making public statements warning of a plot to control all humanity by his former employer, Intellesign, and its co-founder/CEO, Roger Sheridan, and others. Even though Manny possesses the evidence needed to prove his claim, he cannot divulge it for it will not only wrongly implicate him, but also result in his death or worse as result.
