Melany is evil, and she knows it.

Her father's brother and his wife took her in after the death of her parents. Ever since she's realized that her magic has become a sickening shade of red. It was beautiful but others said it wasn't normal and that it was a 'defect'. Her cousin on the other hand was perfect. Handsome, top of his class, and most of all kind. But his girlfriend, Alissabeth was the problem. She was responsible for so much. So Melany planned his death. Without him Alissabeth would be sad and heartbroken like Melany was. I would also make Melany the most powerful mage, ever.
