After a wild Halloween party, Maud and her drunken roommate Lyn stumble home, only to find an unconscious man with a pumpkin face at their doorstep. Maud, a lover of all things spooky and bizarre, is intrigued and decides to bring the stranger inside. What starts as a curious attempt to question his eerily realistic costume turns into a shocking revelation: this isn't just any man-he's the infamous folklore figure, Stingy Jack.

As Maud grapples with the reality of hosting a legendary trickster, Lyn remains skeptical, worried about the dangers of having such a monstrous-looking, yet seemingly harmless, being in their home. But Maud's fascination grows, and so does her determination to uncover Jack's mysterious return.

Haunted by voices in his head, Jack is desperate for answers of his own. Why is he back, and what fate awaits him? As he searches for the truth, Jack faces a life-altering choice: change his ways and defy his cursed past, or allow history to repeat itself, living up to the name that doomed him.
