A Temple of Shadows

Amongst a war on the Asan continent for the possession of the dimensional gates, Kairen Arai was once known as Chariya Trang, the princess of Siaran, but they've left that life behind. They are Kai of the shadows now-a new identity, and trained in cross-dimensional crime and espionage alongside a secretive shinobi clan who like them, possess shapeshifting powers. It's here, in the country of Aiirya, they feel they can finally be accepted for who they are. As Kai gets closer to Baku Hara, the handsome, yet terrifying, leader of the clan though, they find out about the darker power they possess, and that not everything is as it seems...

Right now this is just a wip with some out of order writing which is mostly unfinished but I hope you enjoy it anyway. This is my favourite oc, Kai (non binary, they/them) and their origin story. The world is inspired by Asia, Siaran being Thailand and a lot of South East Asia and Aiirya being Japan.
