Heart broken and afraid he took both the Akutagawa siblings, took the bare minimum, and left the port mafia, running away to France. He wrote a long letter for his now ex fiance and left his ring. They were meant to get married in a month. Dazai was angry and heart broken. A week later Oda died. He left and joined the ADA. Now it's been 4 years. Atsushi just joined the ADA a month ago and no one knows about Dazai's past. But the past will show soon. After Dostoyevesky's death having Dazai nearly witnessing the death of all of his friends, he finally has an actual change in heart. Despite that, he's plagued with horrid nightmares of everyone dying and all because of him. As always he can't seem to get away from Chuuya either with him being the focal point of every nightmare and it did have an impact on him. Dazai realises he in fact holds strong feelings for the short ginger man. Naturally, of course when one side of double black changes so does the other. All this while trying to deal with 7 missing people and 6 missing families is a lot to juggle.
