He is said to be Experiment 100, a code name which is used for the most hideous experiments known. There are multiple Experiment 100s, but only the ones that executed them knew what they were. 
He just happens to be one of the darkest experiments to happen in Kaminoan history.

Pro: Rapid enables Fives to fire at a rapid pace. Con: Due to the speed, Fives's blaster will have to wait 10 seconds before using a power blast, 6 highly powered concentrated shots that is devastating. While Fives's Aura can trigger his Semblance, he can only summon it at the most critical time.
