" Have our souls finally come full circle mate? " he says after a while. His voice was deep.

He puts his hands on my shoulder and slowly turns me around to face him. He is a statue of a man. His face is angular, with thick eyebrows, deep eyes, and eyelashes. His nose was straight, fitting his face, plump lips, and deepening smile lines. His hair is a brownish red, with a thick beard.
He takes his time looking at my face. From my eyes to my cheekbones, nose, and lips. Eyes lingering on my lips.

" I wondered if I would ever come across my mate, in this lifetime," he says, his face inches from me, as if he's scared for faces to come into contact but wants to. He's breathing hard.
" May I kiss you, mate, hold you,"

" Yes," I say holding on to him close.
He lifts my face to his, bends his head, and kisses me. Warmth consumes my whole body. A shiver runs throughout. He then starts to slowly kiss my neck. From chin to where he would one day mark me. I am dizzy with warmth and desire.

It is too late to react when I feel him bite into my neck.
He is marking me, without permission. I am still in shock. My body is not able to take the shock of my system slumps, and I lock eyes with him. I lock eyes with him. He sees the confusion in my eyes. He looks to be about to apologise but does not. He then holds me to him. Eyes start to lose focus. I then fall into darkness.
