On his way after a few months on the beach with Paimon, Aether discovers the world of Teyvat is not as simple as Paimon had explained it to be. He finds a weird bunny creature, a girlish boy, and a funny-looking person with scales and a tail- all of whom seem interconnected.
After Amber explains to him about the Abyss Mages, and he meets some of them firsthand- he wonders why this Mage seems so much more... unique and human.
A little after meeting the girl-boy again, he finds his Abyss Mage friend is so much more than just a weird, fluffy bunny .
