Evan Buckley and Eddie Diaz, two firefighters that have been best friends for awhile are on a call for a structure fire, a small abandoned apartment building. They believe it was an electrical fire, but they aren't exactly sure.

Everything changes in a blink of an eye, and Buck suddenly feels he has to fight every part of himself to get better, mentally and physically. And Eddie has been there helping Buck pick up the pieces after his accident. During the fight for his life, Buck also realized his true feelings for someone. But during his healing, he also gets a shocking surprise. One that just might give Buck the push he needed in his life to keep pushing forward.
