Betty Dalton and Elías Santamarina-James have been dating for seven months of pure bliss.
In Betty's eyes, their relationship is nearly flawless, if you don't count his insistence to sleep with her and his constant need for reassurance.
It's the first party of their last summer together and Elías sees her dancing with another boy-it seems innocent to her but he knows better. Plus, she knows he hates crowds and still forces him to go.
Now she is left stranded in their hometown while he goes with his family on vacation.

Elías has always seen her as his younger brother's best friend but this summer everything's different. And when she pulls up to him, he can't say no.

Augustine knows better than to get involved with a guy with a girlfriend but he assures her that their relationship is hanging by a thread, Betty drives him crazy and he needs an outlet. Maybe this is her chance to prove to him how good they can be together.
