I used to be a villain!

This is a potential light novel/series about a world where superheroes and supervillains have become a thing. The MC starts out as the villain, and becomes a hero slowly, but surely. Why? The MC becomes good because of how much the leader of the heroes seems to understand him and where he has been in life. Through his warm smile and encouragement, the MC becomes a hero because of these new feelings of belonging. The MC proceeds to fall in love with the leader more and more, but tries to not let anyone find out about it. The void left from the MC leaving the villain gig creates an opportunity for a much more evil villain to take over and wreak havoc. Due to this development, the MC has to figure out what it is that they want in life and with their new group of friends, and more importantly, their ever-growing feelings for the leader of the heroes.
