Diego Aguilar, a young Puerto Rican sailor, works aboard a fishing vessel along with his father and captain, Alejandro, and the rest of his crew. Raised by his father from an early age, Diego has a difficult relationship with Alejandro, who often treats him harshly. Every time he questions his father about his mother's whereabouts, Alejandro is evasive, never revealing the whole truth to his son.
But everything changes when Diego starts having recurring dreams and visions about his mother, Catarina, believing that she may still be alive somewhere, and that his father hides more secrets than meets the eye.
From there, Diego's journey to the truth about his past and that of his family begins. Along the way, the young sailor will come across ancient mysteries and legends of the sea, as well as a mysterious ship, which may hold the answers to what he seeks.
