Suddenly the noise of the music faded into a distant drone, the sounds of people along with it, leaving a blissful emptiness and with it came a warmth that spread up my spine through my arms to the tips of my fingers and down again over and over, it was unlike anything I'd ever felt before and yet I recognised it like an old memory. In the background, I could hear Finn asking me something, someone grabbing my arm and then in an abrupt storm it all came back full force enveloping me with a blaring squawk of dissonance and that freedom I'd felt only moments before was gone.
I am normal. Finn is normal. Life is normal. I don't want that to change, but of course, it does, as it always must.

And, if it works, a small percentage of the time, the subjects are let loose, given a certain freedom they had never experienced. And that's what I had now. Freedom. After around ten years of making sure my neural system was intact, the metal surrounding me grew with my body and the batteries didn't poison my immune system, I was given the option of getting out of CARESS, also known as Centre of Adolescents in Rehab after the Effect of Scientific Surgery, and live a normal life. Well, as normal as it could get for a teenage girl with giant metal wings stuck behind her back. ~~~~~~~~ "You remind me of Maleficent... But with blue wings... And definitely more badass." "Who?" " You know, the girl that poisoned Sleeping beauty?" "I repeat. Who?" "We are so watching that. She perched there waiting. Waiting for the opportunity to settle the score between her and her previous owner as she was his property but in order to be even she had to make sure that she ripped him from limb to limb. Out of her peripheral vision she realized that a bird was perching with her as if comforting her. But she did not need comfort she needed to be vindicated. Camea screeched at the bird. The feathers blew off of it as it tumbled 50 stories below. But the thing was dead before it began its descent. A tear of blood trailed down Camea’s face. In the months following Mila’s death Camea came to realize that bondage was in the mind as well as in the flesh. As she wiped her mouth of the blood from her last meal she smiled thinking to herself how much she is going to enjoy dealing with Austen. The monster within Camea allowed three drops of gold to fall the distance to the ground. She was less than human but more than a clone. I always wondered what it would be like to be human. To have a family, to live out of love, and to be loved. But that opportunity passed me. Pining away for something that you can never touch, have, or hold. It is like needing air but being in a room filled with carbon. It is the worse feeling in the world. That is the only thing that I was able to retain from my previous self was my feelings. I can feel everything now. I can feel the world and every emotion in it. As the trees and its land slowly burn down by he deadly purple acid, a man that was watching from afar shivered at this sight. This has been going on for ages, and the creature hasn't been stopped. If they didn't stop the thing on time, everything they knew, everything they have ever known. Every building ever created, every world that has been generated, would be gone. The man looked towards his companion, or was he, his companion? His friend has been acting a bit strange, acting anything but not himself. The man took a deep breath and sighed. He looked towards the man with a stern face, gripping onto his iron sword. "Are you sure, you aren't, It?" His friend looked back at him, and chuckled coldly in response. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

There's always a consequence when she uses her powers, and she isn't sure she can handle her power anymore. She feels like she's nothing, there's nobody who loves her. There's only the people who use her, think of her as a useful 'thing' to have. They collide, and they see flickers of themselves through each other. As they get to know each other and heal, they start to realize there's something meaningful in living itself. There's more than just living. ** I love when characters get hurt or have illness and all that...hehe so there will be a lot of physical, emotional injuries and healing&bonding( right from the start! ).
