A young tom named Rusty happens to stumble across the 4 clans of wild stray cats that live in the forest no house cat dared to set paw in. Everyone that has read The Prophecies Begin knows of this ginger tom, whose pelt seems to be set ablaze in the sun, is the hero of this story; driving away Tigerclaw and killing Scourge. But, what if that had all been a lie, what if it was just two antagonists battling for leadership? What if our beloved Firestar was actually just a corrupted, dangerously ambitious, and blood-thirsty cat; exactly like Tigerstar?
