Hybrid Hero: Saiyaman

Imagine a world where the fate of the Saiyan race was ultimately far different from the original Dragon Ball story. Imagine a timeline where there was no Goku, no Vegeta, no Raditz or Broly, imagine every Saiyan met the fate of destruction by Freeza. Every Saiyan except a single, smarter, gentler middle-class warrior that managed to sneak off-planet the night of Freeza's attack and head to a far-off planet called Earth.

Adopting the name Hisashi, he meets and settles down with one Inko Midoriya, leading to them having a child they choose to name Izuku years later under Inko's maiden name. When the boy is born with a tail, they choose to cut off his tail to prevent the Ōzaru transformation. They hide Izuku's hybrid nature until he falsely believes his quirk came in when his tail regrows during a hangout with Katsuki Bakugou.

At age four, Izuku and Bakugou are told the story of the Saiyans and of the evil emperor Freeza. At age four, Izuku begins his training to harness his latent abilities after a minor incident at school. At age four, Izuku begins his journey to become one of the Earth's greatest heroes and its strongest protector.
