An ancestor of Tomathy from 27 years ago had made a wish that all of his decendants would have very weird, unusual things happen to them when they are sick. Now, in 2025 Tomathy Hertly is living his best life at seventeen years old. Until he goes to sit on an unusually tall bench, and falls, through the bench. See what happen's next in Benches.(This story is fictional and can be a bit scary. Also, I'm a teen writer so don't expect the best story you've ever read to be this one.) There is death and violence in this story, along with, social anxiety, bullying, depression, and death of a family member. If any of these topics are sensitive ones, please don't read this story.

Tommy screamed in pain and in fear as the strange, tall, split colored thing held him down by his right arm and legs. "No! Let me go!" He yelled, tears of pain streaming down his face. "I'm- Im gonna- I'm gonna snap your arm into place!" The short, goat-looking one in front of him said in a panicked voice. "Do not fuckin' touch me!" Tommy screamed. "One..." "Do not touch me!" "Two..." "No!" "Three!" "Don't fuckin' touch me!" π™˜π™§π™–π™˜π™  or, In which Tommy finds himself caught in the rivers current, sending him towards a large waterfall that should have but didn't kill him. Tommy had just recently moved homes. The one he left was one full of memories. Not good ones, but not necessarily bad ones, either. He didn't have much to live for at his old home, so he moved in hope of starting over and meeting new people. He had no more family, and his school friends had long moved on from him. In fact, the only number in his contacts was his mum's who was long passed away. Tommy was young (sixteen, to be exact) and he often forgot things. Usually just as simple as forgetting to do the laundry, or forgetting to reply to a notification on his phone that he received three seconds prior. Simple things that didn't matter. This time, though, he forgot to charge his phone before leaving his new, barely furnished apartment. He didn't think much of it. If it died, it died. No biggie, right? He figured he'd be alright for an hour or so without his phone. That is, until he got lost in the large, unfamiliar town that he definitely didn't even slightly know the layout of. He didn't know where he was or how to get back to his apartment, especially without a GPS. And then, when it definitely couldn't get worse, it began to rain. Tommy was soaked. He was cold, hungry. He cut into an alley and sat down against a brick wall, curled up on himself. He sat there for a while, and then heard footsteps. It was three men. The older one crouched down in front of him. "You look awful...Come with us, mate." But Tommy didn't want to. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other. Miracle Deveraux Kind, forgiving, caring, smart and overall an amazing person. One of the nicest people anyone could get the pleasure of knowing. But she struggled to believe any of this, with each day that past. She thought she was: Annoying, incompetent, worthless, an attention seeker. Replaceable. You see she was always a happy girl growcing up until coming towards the end of middle School. In the beginning of 7th grade was when the torment began. Physically and mentally. She grew up disabled. Perhaps it's time to grant their plea. He closes his office and walks to the elevator. "Good evening, Artemis." The man in a black jacket greets him. Artemis smiles at the stranger. "Do I know you?" The stranger puts his arm around the stunned lawyer. Behind the unknown man's dark glasses are bloodshot eyes ready to scare the wits out of his prey. "Your mother does. She's expecting me to greet you happy birthday." Removing his dark glasses, he stares at his victim to corrupt his eyes. Insurmountable fear assaults Artemis as excruciating pain drills on his eyeballs. A horrible scream slits through the silence of the night when the clock strikes twelve. As the elevator opens, the stranger loosens his grip and the victim falls on the floor. Covering his bleeding eyes, Artemis winces from severe pain. The man whistles away as he walks past the dead body of the security guard in the lobby to the snowy road outside the building. His victim crawls out of the closing elevator. The curse is true. He must get into his car before his sight totally leaves him. He must warn his family. " I must save Athena!"
