Noah, a closeted gay, and is a loner in school with minimuim friends. A new family moves in a few doors down from Noah. As the new family enters their new home he inspects the strangers to see who will be living right next door to him. Curiosity rushes through his head, wanting to know who these people are that will be new neighbors. As the rest of the family enters the home he sees a boy with blond hair and about a year older than him. As he inspects this boy, the notices him and gives Noah a friendly smile and enters his new home.
Days go by quickly and curosity builds up nside of him. He decides to go outside to see what they're up to. Out of the blue he dares himself to go introduce himself to this new boy in the neighbor hoping they can be friends. Noah gets a weird feeling in his stomach when he meets the new boy. He learns that this Danish boy is Benjamin Lasnier. They become best friends, hangouts, stick by each other's side, and do everything together. From then on Noah has a weird feeling that's getting stromg towards Benjamin. When they're alone together he makes his move.

Noah moved to a new town just a few weeks before school starts back up again. He meets a few people on his bus and they end up best friends. One of them tells them about a party that they got invited to. They invite Noah and their other friend along. Noah gets sort of lost but finds his way to a corner. He hangs out there for a while until he feels someone bump into him. He's the one who says sorry and the other questions It. The question soon gets taken back. Someone calls the others name "Logan" Noah knew the boy was hot and he seemed nice, but he never got to ask him Anything. He snaps out of his thoughts when on of his friends show up. Noah asks them if they know anything about Logan and his friend responses with no but he's friends with someone who's friends with Logan. Soon the conversation turns into who can drink more. The next day Noah remembers that his friend said to leave notes in Logan's locker. And Noah does just that. After a while Logan needed to know who was leaving him the notes. He skipped class just to find out, but he got caught and sent to detention. Noah was also there for passing notes in class. Logan groaned an annoyance when he remembered Noah from the party. Then it hit him like a rock. The boy from the party was leaving the notes. The bell rang and before Logan could say anything Noah was gone. "I think I'm gay." I say, leaving out the part about my... exposing dream about him last night. I watched his expression, waiting for some sign that he was angry. He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes.
