I've been in Dauntless my whole life, with everything being fast paced. But don't be fooled. It wasn't my Faction of origin. I was raised into it, but you'll learn about that later not here.
I was raised to run, to fight, to wield weapons, to catch moving trains for transportation. this was all in the normal for a Dauntless kid. There were times were it was evident there had been some sort of mistake made, and I wasn't supposed to be in Dauntless based on my likes, dislikes, and pass-time hobbies. But even then I managed to fit the mold. Everything was normal, until it wasn't.
For now, I'll spare you the grim, dark, sob details which is my life turning upside down. but as you go you won't be so lucky to be spared. no one was spared, and no one was lucky.

{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong?
