He awakens in the middle of the forest. Where is he? What's going on?
Who is he?
These questions ponder his mind. He hardly remembers anything about before, nor does he know anything about the present. Luckily, he meets someone else - a ghost that had waited the month after his death for his awakening.
They show him the world he now resides in, Limbo, also known as the afterlife. Since he can't remember his name, he gives himself one - Gradient. His new friend gives him a warm welcome to his eternal resting place, and he gladly accepts.
Yet there is still more to learn about this mysterious place.
And more to learn about his spiritual self.
